My role at Right to Dream was to learn, conceptualise, strategise and implement RTD’s unique method for culture creation - a culture that over the last 10 years produced purpose-driven athletes such as Mohammed Kudus, Mikkel Damsgaard, Mathias Jensen, Katrine Kuhl, and Ousseni Bouda, scoring world cup goals, fielding the youngest team and the building the 10th most profitable club in the world - in an operating system that could be learned and adopted by RTD’s growing club and academy model. My team and I had to turn all this into learning for leaders, coaches, players, staff and students. And that’s what I did.
Capturing this culture OS taught me to design and adapt environments that married performance & development meaningfully and sustainably. Over many years, integrating with the wider world of sport and technology gave me knowledge of other work cultures and their friction points. All this, I allied with my earlier experience as a philosopher and social scientist, and gradually information formed into insights from across the worlds of work, performance, technology and culture design.
My experience helped me to combine learnings with my PhD and the latest research to create a learnable method for people to implement in their own performance environments, to work with feeling, and ultimately, to flourish.
